TERMS OF SERVICE & WORKING AGREEMENT

This document explains who I am, what I offer, what to expect, and what to do if you're in crisis. By booking a call, attending a webinar, or working with me as a coaching client, you agree to these terms.

1. WHO I AM AND WHAT THIS IS

I am Salman Kasi, a sole trader based in Helsinki, Finland. I offer IFS informed therapeutic sessions for adults, drawing on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework. These terms apply when you book a session, attend a webinar, or use this website (salmankasi.com).

2. MY BACKGROUND

I am an IFS informed therapist. I trained through the IFS Institute's Online Circle program and through an apprenticeship under a senior IFS therapist. I am not a licensed psychotherapist (psykoterapeutti) under Finnish law, and I am not a licensed or registered psychologist, medical doctor, or clinical therapist in any country.

3. WHAT THIS SERVICE IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT

My sessions are IFS informed therapeutic conversations focused on internal patterns, identity, motivation, and the stuck places people meet in adult life. They are reflective and exploratory.

This service is not, and is not a substitute for, clinical psychotherapy or psychiatric care, the diagnosis or treatment of any health condition, medication advice, or crisis support.

I do not diagnose conditions. I do not prescribe or recommend medication. I do not work with severe or acute conditions, including active suicidal ideation, thoughts of harming yourself, psychosis, or severe depression requiring clinical care. This is not a crisis service.

If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, contact your local emergency number, or in Finland call 112 or the national crisis line [add the line you want listed].

4. WHO THIS IS FOR

This work is for adults aged 18 and over, of all genders. By booking, you confirm you are 18 or older.

5. SESSIONS AND FEES

Sessions are booked through the scheduling link on my website. The fee for an individual session is [EUR X], payable [when and how]. Free webinars may be offered from time to time.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a session are fully refundable. Within 24 hours of the session, the session is not refundable but may be rescheduled once.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY AND ITS LIMITS

What you share in sessions is kept confidential and stored securely. I will not share it without your consent, except where I must act to protect you or someone else from a serious and immediate risk of harm, or where I am required to disclose by law. 8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for your own choices and actions. Sessions are a space to reflect, not medical, legal, or financial advice. If you are receiving clinical care, please continue it.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

I provide this service in good faith and with care. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service or this website. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by Finnish law, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
